About Us

 

The FirstMed Industrial Clinic (formerly known as Salt Lake Industrial Clinic) was established in 1971 by a group of emergency medicine physicians.  The clinic was initially established to specialize in the care of on-the-job injuries.  However, over the past 37 years the field of occupational medicine has expanded to include work related illnesses as well as prevention.

 

In October of 2001 FirstMed purchased that clinic as well as three additional facilities in Salt Lake County and one clinic in Davis County to work with employers and meet their specific needs in keeping their employees healthy and safe. 

 

Regardless of which location is used all of your treatment and communication information is available to each of our clinics through our occupational medicine computer program.
